Christina joined Lawson & Weitzen in 2021 as a Partner to assist corporate clients with mergers and acquisitions, a broad range of commercial transactions, corporate organization and governance, including securities, regulatory and licensure compliance. Her prior corporate experience has taught her to understand her clients’ concerns and address their needs holistically alongside their legal priorities. Christina’s clients describe her as professional, positive, pragmatic, and personable. She is a people-first attorney and believes that professional success works best with humanity, humility, and a good sense of humor.

Following law school, Christina worked for six years at two large Boston firms focusing on M&A and corporate transactional work. She first practiced in the corporate transactions group, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate, private equity, and capital markets. She then worked at a firm with a focus on venture capital, private equity and mergers and acquisitions for technology and start-up companies, including a broad range of commercial and tech-licensing contracts, corporate compliance and securities matters. She gained valuable experience working directly with clients from small start-ups as they broadened their reach and financial goals.

She has also worked as an in-house attorney at a global corporation managing a large portfolio of telecommunication assets, including negotiations and assertions related to real property, industry vendors, as well as coordinating with the financial and accounting groups on reconciliations and implementing business agendas with an eye towards regulatory and legal compliance. This experience taught her the business and sales-side fundamentals that are imperative to a company’s success.

Prior to joining L&W, Christina founded a portrait and event photography business. After successfully running her business for 9 years, she has enthusiastically returned to the practice of law. Outside of work, her interests include spending time with family at their home near the beach, adding new stamps to her passport, and long walk-and-talks with friends.
