In that role, Madison will serve as the Section's official recordkeeper and will participate in its meetings. The Criminal Law Section is an exciting organization with diverse members that come from a myriad of backgrounds within the legal profession, including private attorneys, federal defenders, federal prosecutors and federal judges. That breadth of membership brings with it a richness of perspectives on the practice of criminal law informed by its members' respective roles, life experiences, and geography. The Section regularly works to collaborate with local FBA chapters to co-sponsor continuing legal education programs, promote bench-bar relationships through other events, contribute articles to The Federal Lawyer magazine, sponsor a scholarship for law students interested in pursuing a career in criminal law, and provide other opportunities for professional development.
Madison's practice focuses on criminal and white collar defense.
