Zach joined Lawson & Weitzen in 2021 as an associate. His practice primarily focuses on assisting local, regional, national, and international professional service entities with mergers and acquisitions, internal, external and intergenerational ownership transitions, transactions, corporate governance, and licensure. In addition, he represents retailers, wholesalers, and suppliers in the alcoholic beverage industry in matters involving licensing, compliance, regulatory defense, and litigation before state and federal regulatory and licensing agencies.


He is a passionate and hard-working attorney, dedicated to his clients. His prior legal experience, as a law clerk with another Boston firm and as a corporate intern working in-house in the life-sciences industry, has allowed him to serve clients on complex legal issues within various practice areas. He is committed to providing each client with quality legal service and his holistic approach ensures his clients’ needs are achieved.

Zach is an ardent golfer and hockey player and loves to travel. In college, Zach played Division 1 hockey and subsequently played professional hockey with the East Coast Hockey League and in Europe. He works now as a collegiate ice hockey official.
